I'll be studying in Chester, England... right by the water west of manchester. Im very excited to go and i dont get home till june 16th. | The point of this is to express my glee about the outcome of the Mid Term Elections.
The Democrats took control of the House of Representatives with the new speaker Nancy Palosi (the first female speaker of the house). The senatorial races are still unofficial but its looking good, although i do not believe we picked up the necessary 6 seats, i think we picked up 5 and Lieberman (Independent from CT) will most likely caucus with the democrats. Also my brother (for the past 6-7 months) has been working on the campaign for Montana Democrat Jon Tester in an attempt to de-seat the corrupt republican Conrad Burns. Although the results are still unofficial, Jon Tester has been projected as the winner and i couldnt be more excited. Thats all for me, maybe you'll hear from me again in 2 years when the shit will really hit the fan for republicans.
